This is when an agency can be beneficial to you. Chesley Bryan Marketing, LLC works with almost every media group in this market. We also have contacts in adjacent markets such as Shreveport, Houston and Dallas. We speak the media's language. From our years of experience, we can tell what is a good value and what might benefit the media more than you.
We also have the benefit of buying power because we work with multiple clients each month. In most cases, using our media placement services cost you no additional dollars as we are paid on commission by the media.

What's best for your business?
So you have a brand new commercial, billboard or print ad and you can't wait to get it out there. But who decides where to place that media? Many advertisers rely on their media reps to help them. This isn't always best for you.
Remember, the rep's job is to extract as much money from your pocket as possible. They have sales meetings every week in which they are instructed to do so. That is the function of a sales representative. The function of an agency is to ensure that your budget is spent in the areas that will be most impactful for your business.
What if your rep is brand new to selling for the company? Maybe they don't know the ins and outs of their business just yet. Perhaps they aren't comfortable asking their sales manager for a better rate for you or maybe their management is really pushing them to sell some unsold inventory that might now be the best fit for your business. A case in point, try to stay away from Packages. Most of the time, they are better for the station than they are for you. Say you lock in to advertise in your favorite sports team's games. Then that team tanks and blows their season early on. Viewership goes down and your still paying for it. That isn't an effecient use of your ad dollar.
"Your Media Rep's job is to take as much of your money as they can"
